Volkswagen Finance Pvt Ltd has introduced a limited period offer of Rs. 9,999 EMI on the Škoda Rapid. The new EMI scheme gives customers a chance to fulfill their dream of upgrading to a spacious and premium sedan, the Škoda Rapid. With regard to the initiative, Joern Achim Kurzrock, Chairman of the Managing Board, Volkswagen Finance Private Limited said, “The offer comes at a time when the auto industry is witnessing a contraction in demand. At affordable EMIs of Rs. 9,999, this offer will make it easier for consumers to make the transition from a hatchback to a sedan. The novel scheme, launched under our brand Škoda Finance, is a first of its kind in the Indian market, with a sedan being made available for as less as Rs. 9,999 per month.” The scheme has been introduced in the Indian market by Škoda Finance, a brand of Volkswagen Finance Private Limited and will be available with immediate effect for a limited period only. In India, VWFS operates through Volkswagen Finance Private Limited (‘VWFPL’) and has set up its India operations in 2009. The company received the NBFC license in March 2011 and already offers its financial services to customers in India.
